Yeah, I thought about going to 16's with e rated as well but in the end didn't feel like spending the coin new wheels. Good to know the e rated weren't too stiff for you.

Wasn't trying to make any generalizations. Just wondering if there is a real underlying factor in why the market is moving more to 17's over 15's.

So, I painted my faded bumper filler on my day off. I was planning to paint it red, with the dupli color pearl, like my grill. But I actually just put it on with the primer black. I think I like it better than the color matched. What do you guys think?

Love it. Did you respray the grille or just washed it?
Edit: nvm I see what you painted, on the top of the bumper itself. Keep it color matched

I like the look of the pre runners, with the color matched bumper. I want to do mine, but Heard that painting chrome is a pain!

Not that bad, I color matched my chrome grille and it still looks great. Its all about the prep work.

I believe it's the limiteds with that package. It's just a matter of sanding it real good, priming, and sanding in between coats. Have to take your time though

Installed my clone Techstream (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C9B32J4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - actually received a verion 9.x of the software - and hooked up to the Taco. No issues reported :) Sometime soon I will hook it up and drive for a bit, collecting data to analyse later. Amazing how little info you can actually grab off these older '97 ECUs. My '09 Camry has loads of info and settings I can control with the Techstream.

    Best $26 I have spent!

Is your interior oak? And, what is the color of the wheelskin you got?

Interior is grey, I think its just bad lighting. Color I got was grey as well. Taking better pics tomorrow morning.

cool and thanks. With the lighting the way it is, it has me rethinking going with black on my oak interior. Probably just go with their oak and live with the slight mismatch.

Any of you guys used the LED headlight bulbs from the classifieds here?

I have a Homer Taco grille coming and want to fix a bunch of crap at one time.

I have a new set of Toyota headlight housings and want to put the LED bulbs in them. I plan on retrofitting the old housings down the road, just not now. I am currently running the Silver Star Ultra bulbs but I am not happy with the life of them. I replaced them when I bought the truck and I have already had to replace one. The majority of my driving is at night, 3rd shifter, and the 145 quoted life is lousy.

I also have a transmission cooler sitting on the bench waiting to be installed with the grille.
