Nice! I've wanted to do this for a while now, since I'm scraping for funds. What tools do you plan on using to make them? (ie: CNC plasma cutter??) Did you go with 3/16th? You going to rienforce them at all? Sorry for all the questions! lol:D I have to get skids by Moab too.... But all I have is a 110 welder, grinder, hammer drill, but no plasma cutter or anything..... trying to figure out how to go about it.
    Buahahahaha thanks, man!

I'm in the same boat. I have a good welder, but I'm wanting to plasma cut a few of the peices. I have a buddy with a plasma cutter that I can use so I think I can get it together ok. Otherwise it's a lot of time with a cutoff wheel and grinder.

yeah the guy said to either wrap everything or unhook and bag any electrical, but just pulled my HID wiring and aux light wiring so it hung over the fender, and then just avoided spraying directly onto any electrical. (i took the battery out)
