    Thanks guys.

I'm on a mission to get rid of all the chrome...

...my door handles bothered me for so long.

Up next chrome bumper inserts (and I'm going to dye the valence)

Well after a winter and a heading up into the mountains every weekend I finally deep cleaned my Tacoma today.

Took 5 hours but today was the day to do it, with a high of 81 in april the Tacoma really took the shine haha

    That's not the dye.

It was 320 fine grit, three light coats of Rustoleum primer and three light coats of Rustoleum semi-gloss.

Man, I don't know. I ordered it at the beginning of march, and he said it would be about 2 weeks then he would email me the tracking #. But nothing yet. I emailed Adam at 4x but haven't heard back yet...and from what I have heard that is pretty uncharacteristic of Adam.

Got to know the trim package pretty well... and got all my Polk DB651s installed plus the JVC head unit.... sounds so much better than the old stock units.

Nice job, madjik. I think I am going to have to paint my fender flares soon. Magic Eraser and 303 aren't cutting it for me.

Call him, from all the business I did with him I realized calling works better than emailing...this goes with pretty much any business though.

Yeah, I bought some Magic Eraser (for tough jobs) and it worked well. But for the amount of elbow grease I put into, it didn't last long.

I have so many chunks of fiberglass missing from my flares that I need to do it right.

Fill it in with fiberglass (or bondo.. will that work?), sand, prep, prime and paint.

No flares on lifted trucks looks very sweet.

No flares on stock trucks looks very base and incomplete IMO

I did that too but found a surprise of faded paint and rust... They went back on pretty quick

Yeah, mine are plastic, not fiberglass, so no chips to fill. I intend to use the Duplicolor plastic adhesion promoter plus satin back, or Duplicolor's palstic trim paint. Whatever they recommend.
