What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I pulled the 5100's and set the clip to the stock height setting.

 

Where did you getthose sweet seat covers. i really like them but i cand find any that look and fit good

 

Allpoo brake line installed
Flushed the brake fluid
Both lower ball joints
And shocks flipped!
Hopefully goin to install the new amp and permanently mount my tag Tuesday!

 

Installed my lift:

Toytec coils w/Bilstein 5100's
OME Dakars w/OME AAL's
Bilstein 5100's for the rear

Toytec diff drop going in tomorrow. Will also be replacing U-bolts and modding the tail pipe (TBD.)

Why did you flip your shocks?

 

did the fog light mod. however now my corner lights(turn signals) aren't working. anyone had this problem?

I had them like they are in the pic originally, but I flipped them body up cause the bodies were dented from the leafs but it rode real bouncy and now it's firmer like I wanted and doesn't "float"

 

shafts are supposed to be on the bottom anyway

 

I am prety sure they are just used as parking lights. Mine 96 tacoma and my brothers 99 4 runner are.

Yesterday I shoveled 2100 pounds of rock into the bed.

Today I shoveled 2100 pounds of rock out of the bed.

Then washed Ol' Red

 

Yep, alot of the trails are similar to that.

 

Slowly, but it's getting there

 

So apparently I exceeded the payload by nearly 800 pounds

The bed was resting on the bump stops but it seemed to handle, accelerate and brake just fine. Just gave myself a lot more room and time.

If they are nitrogen charged shocks you can run them either way. Personally I prefer shaft down to keep the shock body out of harms way.

This is correct. If those are an emulsion type of shock, the shock body has to be down and the shaft up.

OP, what brand are those? Ranchos? 5000s?
