Well I bought the truck and put the topper on it because I wanted a truck to go fishing/camping in. I have to say I was not disappointed. It held all of my camping equipment (I like to be comfortable in camp) for the trip and kept it secure in hotel parking lots. We also used it to keep our camp "bear clean" by putting all attractants in the camper at night. Then once on the river we didn't have to break down our 9' rods, just put them through the sliding windows. Also nice to have a tailgate to put on our waders and to sit and have a beer on at days end. One nice touch was I used my old Toyota carpeted floor mats (thank you WeatherTech's) to keep dirt off our wader feet!

Love your state. I'll be back and I'll give you a shout before hand! Thanks!

How did you know where the road was with all that snow on the ground? From the top picture it does not look like it could have been very visible. It seems like you followed it pretty much dead on though.

Sometimes you could easily see it, most of the time it was very faint, other times we had to guess.

I ran the trail in June that year so that helped.

    Word.

Very odd about the mountain roads, but to keep the gas mileage nice on the highway, you can't let the RPMs get too high. I averaged 21 mpg on my way home from Moab at about 65 mph the whole way. If you wanted good gas milage all around, you probably should've gone with 4.88s.... That would've brought closer to a stock ratio. :notsure: And that is a bit strange, because I noticed tremendous power increase around town and off-road. Highway is the only sucky one since you gotta keep it slow...

I have a solution for you though. 37s!!!!!! :D lol or just SAS that sucker sooner than later.

EEEhhhhhhh...... I wouldn't......... Tha'd be nice on the highway, but pretty sucky for low end torque and power..... 4.56s might be ok for a Taco with a Manual transmission and a V6. But Any other combo would require at 4.88s to get back to the stock ratio....

Ya well I think it would be similar to my 33s and 4.10s. Plus I do have a manual and v6 and I plan on SC it.

    Wow that's a good deal

Yeah, it was fantastic. The only problem was that they took a little over a month to get it in stock so I could buy it. Well worth the wait though.
