How do I remove this knob circled in red? I tried just twisting good ol lefty loosey but I didn't want to force anything.

Sorry about the crappy pic but it is what I have and gets the point across.

Use some dinamite, a crowbar, and a 20 lb hammer. That should take it off nice and easy like.

Usually when I'm dealing with Jesus clips, means when you work so hard to open it up, and just before you get it onto whatever your snapping it onto, it flies off never to be found again, and your left saying "oh jesus, now I gotta find another one":D

We always called them Jesus clips because looking on it straight on looks like the outline of his head and hair...Mostly we called them "oh shit" clips...same concept as WJFF said.

you could just tape it and paint it in the truck...I'm not sure how plasti dip sprays but I'm sure you could do it that way. Might be more of a PITA but at least you won't have to fight with taking the knob off.

Just pull it straight out. I removed mine due to it causing a wear spot on my seat. Just pull.
