Just bought a 01 Single Cab Taco with 180,00 miles and it seems when I get on the interstate that it takes a while to get to 70 mph. Once I get to 70 seems to have good acceleration, any answers? This is coming out of 4th gear in high Rpm.

Maybe install an aftermarket air filter or exhaust. Something to give you a little performance boost!

well the only manual taco ive had was the 2.4, and that thing took forever to get up to speed on the high way.

when i am trying to get some speed up at any point with my auto 2.7, i usually just floor it, so the tranny downshifts. then i get some speed....
