Suspension Lift feedback

Hey Tacoma brethren and sistren,

I'm now going to pull the trigger and order an online lift for my bottomed-out 2001 non-TRD quad cab (six lug). It's clear that she has been pulling and carrying in her past life as she has little spring: thud's whenever I take a speedbump or pebble or something.

I am pouring over the threads, but I'm totally open to any suggestions you may have in which direction to go in terms of retailer and which package.

The following are the variables:

• The coils, 4 shocks, and the leaf pack are all tin-foiled out;
• I purchased a pair of air helper springs so they will be installed in concert with the new suspension (and I think this will allow me to avoid replacing the pack);
• I don't rock crawl but carry precious cargo (my fam), pull small trailers and boats, and prefer the feel of a sporty suspension;
• 3" is fine but am flexible (as long as it looks good);
• So far what seems alright is the two upper packages at tacolift: my budget maybe around a g-note but I'm not high society so to spend less is fine. Turning heads is not a priority.

I'm open to suggestions from more seasoned 'lifters' if there are any and appreciate your guys' time,

ps. my LT255 85 16's rub whenever I turn but being up high is so worth it-(obviously I'm a practical guy...)

Oh absolutely!

I used to navigate a 7-eleven parking lot but now I conveniently drive around a large block whenever I miss a turn.

I cant imagine the 255/85s on stock. Im runnin them now on 2.5 up front and dakar leafs in the back. frame rub at full lock and the rear i tore a corner out of the front of my fender because the tire was too far up and i was too cheap by relocate my axle. Now there is no rubbing in the rear though
