    Thinking about getting new headers in a couple months and was wondering which ones everybody prefers :confused:

    I have TRD headers and they sound great. I can tell a difference in power. My dad has almost the same truck as me same motor and I can tell a difference in power.

    I put a set of JBA headers on a 4runner and it was the biggest PITA. If I were in the market I would get Thorleys.

    Mine were actually on my truck when I bought it but one day at the dealership just because I could I asked the guy how much... the headers are $600 a side so $1200 and the $300 for the cross pipe so $1500

    well long tubes like doug thorleys wont pass smog at least not here in CA. i put gibson shorties on mine for 600 for both. great price and good power gains. you will get more power with long tubes but they will cost more and might not pass smog or the inspection. Plus gibsons are straight bolt on I installed them myself in a day.

    i love my trd headers. gave my truck a nice rumble. I love pulling up at a stoplight in town and it idle down and on take no expects the toyota to be loud. haha

    arent TRD's out of production? or extremely hard to find? ive seen a handful of site that say they have them but when you got to order, they say out of stock.
