Just the like the title says, there's a clanking noise coming from the engine when going pretty fast (55+). It doesn't have a steady rythm to it, it's pretty speratic. Only happens when I'm on the highway pressing the gas pretty good or when I'm going 50 or so and going up a hill, so I guess it only happens when the engine is working pretty hard. Started happening a few days ago and it's pretty noticable. Any ideas what it could be? It's hard to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from since it only happens when the truck is moving.

5100's all around, 2.75 inch lift, polyurethane body mounts, gibson exhaust, variation of the deckplate mod, intake resonators removed 285-75-16 goodyear AT
Knock sensor might have gone south so the timing isn't being properly adjusted under load. In my old van I used to drive with the engine cover open and adjust the timing to the point where it didn't knock under load in third gear, of course no easy way to do that in a new vehicle.

it's where the push rod hits the head, but honestly it's pretty much impossible to know or even guess what the problem is with abnormal engine noises without being there and using a stethoscope. That's one of those things that you should take to a shop and have them look at it.
