hey everyone, Im new to the forum. I just bought a 99 tacoma with a TRD supercharger and TRD exhaust :D however the muffler had a crack in it which caused it to fail inspection, when they removed the exhaust they put a pretty decent crack in the muffler. The exhaust is a 3 piece set, downpipe from the cat back to the muffler, then the muffler, and then the exhaust tip.

So my question is, where can i find a replacement muffler? I dont like the sound of the stock exhaust

Depending on how much sound you are wanting, you can get anything from a glasspack to flowmaster. Go on youtube to hear the different exhausts people have.

Dynomax Super Turbo! I just got mine installed today and i love it. It's a bit quiet now but in a little while it will louden on up.
    I got the 17731 model which is a 2 1/4" but the 17748 model is a 2 1/2" exhaust.

Flowmaster 40 series or 50 series should work well.

    Look at build!
^ 40 is going to be a bit louder, maybe raspier, ive heard the 50 series is just a little deeper. but idk from experience.

my 03 striaght piped is bad ass, except its gay when you're not on the gas in like 2nd or first gear, 3rd has that nice rumble whether your accelerating or not. Deff a huge hp drop though, its tough going up hills and i have a v6 not a 4 banger. I got a glass pack and it just was so gay.

If you dont mind it being loud then I though my flowmaster super 44 sounded really good. I am running a magnaflow now and it sounds ok but it is much quieter, and I have it turned down before the axle now.
