Not bad. Looks like it is a true TRD (seems to be a diff lock button on the dash).

So are you up to speed on frame rust? If this thing has lived in PA, perhaps it has already been replaced. Look into this really hard.

Check records on it, should have had T-belt replaced at 90k. That's at least $500 (tons of labor)

If you pull the VIN an register on toyotaownersonline.com, it should show all the dealer service, inlcuding T-belt and frame, if done.

If it is in good shape, don't hesitate. It will get snapped up.

    Good luck, mon.

Thank you guys. Yeah I thought it looked very clean too except for the small dent in the rear bumper but this thing is gonna see trails anyway so it's no big deal(granted I don't beat my vehicles by any means but it will see rausch creek if I get it! LOL). I've read up on the rust and am planning to look at the frame if i go to look at it. My understanding though is that toyota will replace it if its bad anyway up to 15 years right?? And I also know about the timing belt every 90k but I'm not sure if it has records or not I'll try the VIN thing if I can find it. It has an experian version of carfax on the dealers website and it comes back clean with only two owners, but I don't trust carfax anyway. If it does need a T belt I'll do it myself and save a TON of money on labor. I've been wrenching on vehicles for many years now and do all my own maintenance. If I have to do the belt I'll do the water pump while I'm at it too, I've already read the EXCELLENT write up on here on how to do it. Thanks again guys, I'm really hoping this works out. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE my titan but between the ginormous payment (bought it brand new and financed $34k at a not so friendly interest rate, long story but I could afford it at the time) and the gas (granted the taco's not gonna do a LOT better, maybe 4-5mpg or so) it's killing my wife and I right now so it's gotta go.

How do you figure? kbb puts it right at that much or more and every other one I've found in this area in that shape and mileage is anywhere from $13,900-15,500. These trucks hold their value very well.

Yeah, it looks like a loaded SR5, too. Again, if it checks out, snag that puppy ASAP. I think the only thing that could make it even more desireable is a 5 speed....

Thank you guys, and yeah as far as I can tell it's loaded for a first gen. The only thing that it needs ASAP as far as I'm concerned is a hitch so I have a rear recovery point. The 4wd models have front hooks already right? I talked to the salesman yesterday and it's still there nd since it's at a Nissan dealer and my titan is an 08 with under 50k miles he said it'll qualify as a certified preowned so they'll likely give me a little more than book value on it for trade in which is great. Hopefully with any luck I'll be driving this taco either Mon or Tue. I'll keep ya'll updated.

Oh and I cannot register at that toyota owners online site for nothing! It'll let me get to step two where I pick a username and all that and then it just keeps saying "cannot process request at this time". Anybody else have trouble with that site? I'd really like to go there and see if the T belt has been changed and that.

Well a little update. I finally managed to get registered at toyota owners online and it didn't have any service records on file and it said that it had two open safety recalls and/or service campaigns and they are the frame recall (code 90D) and one for the lower ball joints (code 50J). If I get it I'm gonna take it to my local Toyota dealer and have them inspect the frame and see if it needs replaced. What is the one about the lower ball joints though? Haven't seen that one on here yet.

03's had a balljoint issue and I think if you take it in, you get a free replacement.
