Alrite here it goes...I plan on getting a 1st gen tacoma sometime by the end of summer and want to run 33x12.50s and wanted to ask questions early..

I want to know, is there a 4 inch lift for these? And if so who makes them for how much?

If not, who makes a 3 inch lift with the complete set and for how much?

I want a lift that can run 33s with no or little trimming necessary, although I'm not afraid to do so...

All advice and feedback is very appreciated

caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
whats your price range? i would go with a 3 inch, if you get a 4 inch i think it has to be a drop bracket.(someone correct me if im wrong)

    A. NO 4" lift unless gay ass BL.

    B. Lots of companies make a 3" lift... Icon, Toytec, eibach/bilstein set, Fox...soooo many...

    C. There will be rub. UNLESS YOU TRIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer quality over price because I would save up for it anyways...I don't mind the 3 inch I just want to be able to flex out a lil wit 33s and not rub too much....and yes I think 4 inch does need the drop bracket which I do not mind...I jus don't want the run around tryna gather up a good quality 3 inch lift, as in I want to buy it all together if that makes sense

3+" Does not make sense. DB are lame. 3" lift can do a shit load of trail riding. About as good as my 37" SAS. Seriously.

Get Icon 3" lift, thats quality IMO. Go to their site, Icon Dynamics

I read on the icon site about the stage 1-3 lifts and they say 3 inch in front and 1.5 inch aal...shouldn't I need 2 or even 3 inchs in the rear to compensate? I would definitly like to be level or my rear slightly taller, for some reason I hate the look of truck as if its pointed in the skys direction as if it were saggin in the rear..

Looks good jblaze805...so how many things did u have to buy seperate then? Or was it a kit? And that's a total of about 3-3.5 inch lift then?

@supraTT....yea he has a prerunner but it would still work the same way as 1st gen 4x4 rite?

@jblaze...I really do like that set up, maybe bigger tires but overall I like it a lot...is that cheaper than a camburg or icon 3inch coilover kit or no? And where did u go for all the parts?

I said earlier I didn't want a run around but if you or anybody could provide info on where I need to go to get ur full set up, I mite not mind and go with that because its taller than all common 3 inchs around but not to tall in my eyes...did u need longer brake lines or anything?

You can't do lift spindles on a 4x4 so you're still gonna be looking at a coilover setup at 3" if you do get 4x4. Pretty much anything you get you're going to need to research for parts, thats just the name of the game. Hat do you want to achieve with your truck?
