Installing DRL in an 01
hey just bought a taco yesterday from bellingham and am importing into canada. I've got to install daytime running lights to pass inspection. I did a search and couldn't find the info for the 2001. Does anybody have a link for a DIY . Thanks and I'm so happy to be out of a Ford and into a Tacoma.

Welcome to TW!
Hard to believe you MUST have DRLs to pass inspection, you'd think they'd "grandfather" older vehicles that don't have them. Maybe the Canadian DMV could help with some suggestions, surely they must have heard the question before.

yeah it is hard to believe it but its an automatic fail if you dont have DRL's. I can pay to have it done at the dealership or canadian tire but it cant be that hard and im pretty handy. I was hoping there might already be a thread about it.
