power aid on throttle body

    i recently bought a 1st gen 3.4 4x4 and it has this red spacer looking thing on the throttle body that says ("power Aid") I don't know alot about these (yet) so what is this thing? anyone???:confused:

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Its a throttle body spacer. It doent do anything, so I wouldnt worry about it

    they claim to increase horsepower however they only create a whistling sound
