where do I measure from?

    hey all where do I measure from to find out which lift kit the previous owner put in this truck? I know its got a kit in it but I want to know how high he went.
    Oh yeah and do alot of people go with uniball UCA's on these trucks? I have them and they work well ...just wondering how popular they are.

    Most folks measure from the center of the axle, to the bottom of the fender.

    That is the correct way to measure. Many people measure from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender which would work if you always stick with the same tire & wheel.

    Measuring from the center of the spindle/axle to the bottom of the fender will be accurate no matter what tire & wheel size you have or change to.
