If anyone is dieing to know.. I complete front clip (hood, fenders, head lights, grill, radiator, a/c condinser, and bumber) will fit on a Tacoma. What I am not 100% sure on is it you have to also swap the core support.. Had it at the dealership, and it was funny watching the employees looking at it, they could tell something was wrong

I bought my Taco totaled in the front, and the local pick-a-part sold me a complete front clip for about $400, and the only taco's that I could find they wanted $1300...

I cut and rewelded everything on at the firewall... so EVERYTHING is 4runner.... The 4runner front end is about 1 inch longer, so it's all or nothing.

I will post a few pics in a few days, once I get my 2nd gen springs installed..

this was actually done on customtacos.com back in 2004 or 2005...

a guy named Dave from Redondo Beach had a 4runner and put a 2004 front end on his truck... some other guy did the reverse and put the 4runner front end on his first gen taco...

Dave subsequently got banned so i dont know if the pics are still around, but i will see if i can find some pics...

the 4runner with the taco front end looks way better than the other way around though...
