My 1996 Tacoma's headlights are just not bright enough for me that much anymore. I have been looking into getting an HID Conversion kit for it but i have hit a wall. All the HID kits that i have seen have the light bulbs are separate from the light housing, there's where the problem lies. On my 96 Tacoma the light bulbs are part of the housing. So how exactly am i suppose to get a kit when the bulb is connected to the housing and the bulbs in the kits are separate from the housing? im sure there is a solution and its probably pretty easy. any kind of help would be perfect thanx,

    Shane

    ...too much shit to list.
The 96's had a sealed headlight. You'll need a standard 6x7 conversion kit that will give you the housing. Then you can buy a standard hi/low H4 HID kit.

Housings can be found on Amazon or egay. The 96's had a H6074 bulb so just do a search for H6054 conversion. Google might be your friend on this as well. I'm sure someone's done the conversion.
