A/C Compressor Belt...cut??

Hi I have an 04 tacoma with a v6. My ac compressor does not work and I have got a weird noise going on, that I think is from a locked ac compressor. Im wondering if cutting the belt to the ac compressor will affect anything else? I see it touching one other wheel from the main shaft but im not sure if this is just for tension or what....any answers please??

That truck has 3 belts,
One should be for the ac comp.
One for the alt.
The third is the power steering
Is your ac comp frozen? You don't need to cut it, just loosen up the ac comp and remove it.

Dude 03's right, why do you have to cut everything up like a butcher? Loosen up a few bolts slide it off. The belt is still good? Right

ok so its def AC only...so im gonna remove but ya to even get a good angle to remove bolts just seems way to hard as opposed to just cutting the darn thing

yes the belt is still good...but its the belt in the middle of the 3....and say i do get the bolts removed...that would mean i would have to remove all 3 belts to get it out of there correct? sounds like way to much time to me
