Rear end swaps

What years Taco will swap with no issues?

I was wondering if I could get 4X4 rear end for me 4X2.
So it would have a LSD..

I have a 1998..

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

I dont think the 4x4's or PreRunner's will swap right out and into your truck. The axels are a little wider, and they are made for a spring over axel mounting, as yours is a spring under axel mounting. It could be done, But, unless you have a sawzall and a welder, just buy an LS for your axel. You have a 7.5" rear.

Chris is right...

Not only all that - but you have a different lug pattern. Look on your wheels - you have 5 lugs. The 4X4 has 6 lugs.

You're much better off doing some research to find an aftermarket LSD for your truck.

LOL. I have been around TTORA so long, I have gotten used to seeing trucks with 6 lugs in the rear and 8 on the front, I forget to even think about them anymore.
