    Wow this place is different. I haven't been on here in a long time and most of you don't remember me who was around when I was more active and the rest never heard of me... not that there was anything to hear

    i traded because i got a new job that required a lot more commuting and the 15 mpg wasn't in the budget so i got the TDI diesel. a month into my job i got a work vehicle that i don't even pay gas for! now i drive my jetta maybe on weekends if i go somewhere... that's it. i have been thinking about a truck again and have started perusing all the 4x4 forums iused to frequent. just wanted to say hi ad see whats going on here. its going to take a while for me to get used to this forum lol.

    best i've gotten with summer diesel is about 47. thats all highway with cruise control set at 70. but i average around 43ish.

    the guy i traded with did not appreciate the work and immediately swapped in a stock grille :(

    That's awesome mileage! I ride a motorcycle to work every day and the best I get is 43 mpg.
