100,000 mile service

Hey guys, new here. I have a 95 Taco 4x4 V6 with 104K mi. I want to invest some money in keeping this truck. I have never done any work on it other than basic maintenance. I want to service it now with a clutch and timing belt.
Is there anything I need to be aware of in changing out these things? Also, what else should I look at?

Change the water pump while your changing the timing belt. I would also change out the differential fluid in the front and rear as well as the transfer case and transmission if you haven't done that recently.

 

I did something similar: the timing belt had been replaced, so I left that alone: I did the following for my major tune: replaced all belts, adjusted the valves (checked them), full lube on the drivetrain, checked the carrier bearing, replaced all fluids with synthetics (saved almost 2 mile per gallon with that one), switched out my starter contacts, replaced the fuel filter and checked the wheel bearings/brakes.
