Stebel Nautilus Compact Horn Install - 1st Generation

First let me say that I am sorry for no good pictures but, my camera is broken, so my son took 2 pictures with his iPhone.

Anyway, this horn will fit where the stock horn is located but, you have to make some minor modifications.

I used the following horn:

Stebel Nautilus Compact Dual-Tone 12-Volt Motorcycle Air Horn

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/2137

Plug-n-Play Wiring Harness for Stebel Nautilus Compact Air Horns

http://www.amazon.com/Plug-n-Play-Wiring-Harness-Nautilus-Compact/dp/B0028ZKMM6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1308531374&sr= 8-2

The Stebel horn is very tight fit. I don't think you could get a bigger horn into this spot. The wiring kit was perfect length.

I had to use the factory radiator bolt hole to mount the horn. So now that one bolt holds the horn and radiator mount.

The horn sounds a lot better and louder than stock. I mounted the relay by the battery.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

I will get you all some pictures this weekend. It was pretty easy. Pop the grill out and take the top left bolt out of the radiator. I ran a longer bolt threw the radiator hole and mounted the horn there. And took out the stock horn.

Wiring was easy with the additional wiring harness. Put the relay by the battery and ran the wires along were the radiator mounts to the truck. It has worked flawlessly.

Just make sure you by Stebel horn because I have heard bad things about the knock offs like Woo Ha.
