I looked all around but all I could find was threads regarding swapping a 2001+ onto an older truck. I am wondering what would be involved in putting a 1997 bumper grill and headlights onto say a 1998-2000 truck, both 4x4. Would it be a simple bolt on?
I am wondering because I may try and pick up a 2000 Tacoma, but the 97 front end is simply bad-ass.

nothing, all stock expect got a OE replacement air filter K&N.
you will need pretty much the whole front end: both fenders left and right. hood, headlights, bumpers, grille...and hopefully other can pitch in too.

Your looks won't help you off road, but if you don't off road... I guess to each their own
