1st gen toytec coilover and billy 5100 install question

Hey guys, I just got a set of toytec adjustable coilovers and new bilstein 5100s for my 03 tacoma. I'm trying to set the the thing up, but not sure which setting I should set the billys on. I read somewhere that the C-clip should be set to on the the lowest setting "0", and that's what's in the directions from toytecs install for the 2nd generation tacoma, but when I spoke to a rep from toytec on the phone, after checking with his coworker, he said the setting should be set at the middle setting. So I dunno...I know OME coils should be set to 0 because the coils are larger, but I think the toytec adjustable coils are stock size, so I dunno what to set the billys on. Also, how high should I adjust the coilover setting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance yall!

 

so you ordered their adjustible coilovers, and they didnt come assembled?

 

Just ordered the Eibach and 5100 combo, and i didnt get them assembled. You get 3" and set them to 0.

 

Thanks guys, yeah, that's what I figured. I saw the instructions that Jason linked to for the 2nd gen. I ended up calling them to double check again, and a different guy at Toytec said that from what he saw it should be on the "0" setting.

 

agree, set the 5100 to 0 and you can adjust the coilovers to where you want.
