Ok I'm sure there are tons of threads on this but here goes. I want some opinions on tires you use. It is time for new rubber so here's what I kinda want....

I want something that is gonna ride good on the road because that's mainly where I drive but I want a tire that looks good, like it has a little meat to it lol.

Here's what is on it now, what a sissy tire no meat! I'm not apposed to a different size tire either but no bigger size will fit under it.

    I second the Duratrac's.

I've been running them for 5K miles and have nothing but great things to say. The road noise is well within acceptable levels, and yeah, you cant hear them if the stereo is playing.

I have done a very minimal amount of off-road driving, but they did great in the sand and mud for what its worth.

I was in your shoes in that I wanted an aggressive "looking" tire that would drive well on the street and was good enough for basic off-roading.

    I have 265/75/16 in Load Range C.

My truck has 265/75-15 on it now and I rub some when turning full left but that's it... I think I'm gonna stick with the same size 265/75-15 or 31x10.50-15 and trim on the inner fender a bit.

Duratracs are great, and I've got General Grabber AT2s which I love. Had them for about half a year now and they're wearing great. They've done well in snow, dirt, and light mud.

It says they are for sand so it seems they would dig ok in mud or grass.... I only go off road getting to coon hunting spots.
