My truck struggles to idle in the morning when i first start the engine. Usually the idles are high around 1200 rpm at first start up in the morning and drops down to between 500 and 750 once the engine reaches steady state. Now cold start idle is at 500 and slowly moves up. Ive been holding the throttle down a little just so the engine doesn't die. I only have this problem at initial start up, truck starts normal for the rest of the day.

Anyone have any suggestions to what the problem could be?

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
You most likely have a temp sensor problem. Either the coolant or air temp sensor is going.
I doubt it is your plugs and wires, but it cannot be ruled out. Check them.
