Would The Bilstein 5100 shocks be ok at the middle setting when used in conjunction with the OME 880 coil or should it be kept at the lowest setting?
I want about 2" of lift and have read that the OME 880 plus the Bilstein 5100 at the lowest setting will only achieve about 1" of lift.

They will be installed on a regular cab 4X4.

I don't know the exact lift achieved, but I went from the 880's on stock struts to 5100's on the middle setting, and got enough lift for 32" tires.

I am looking to try and get some 32's on the tacoma.
Might try it on the middle setting with the OME 880's.

Finally got bored and put my bilstein 5100s and OME 880 coil on the tacoma. Looks nice. I think it gave me just the right amount of lift for what I am trying to do.

Here is a comparison of my old shock and coil with the bilstein 5100/ome 880 combo.

I installed the bilsteins on the lowest setting. I think it gave me enough lift to fits 32s. I got almost 2" of lift in the front. I had installed an AAL in the rear so the rear was a bit higher before. Now it seems all leveled out.

Looks awesome man, makes me miss my 95.5.

I love the 95.5 - 96 reg. cabs, looks perfect with a little lift and some bigger tires.

So how much lift did you end up getting? I'm thinking of going the same route but want to know exactly how much lift I'm gonna get

kinda bringing back an old thread but I have the bilsteins but I haven't installed them yet. as of now I have stock coils (170,000 miles on them) and im looking in to buying these. I really just want to level the front out. how are you liking these? I might get the 880s and use the middle setting

Id just get 881s. it'll ride better as it'll give the same lift as the 880s with the 5100s on middle setting but it'll ride better due to there being no pre load on the coil.

after they settle a bit yes. They give about 2'' lift and settle to about 1.75''-1.5'' depending on how much you abuse them.

getting a fresh leaf pack will also help. If you not really looking for much and more level stance, Wheelers 4 packs would be fine.

I've got new leaf springs. Haha just haven't installed them because I need new shackles. But I might just buy some 880s cause I found some for cheap
