    Good evening tacoma fans,

    I have just achieved 415.8 miles on a single tank of gas without running out. I have also put over 18 gallons of gas in my truck in a single pumping on 2 different fillings. I took a 1,200 mile trip this past week and tracked every mile of gas that I used in my '03 taco. Pics below...

    So the first fill up was 21.32 mpg's....Pretty darn good, have never seen greater than 19.1 in mine!

    Correct. And the second I did not take a pic of the mileage but it was 21.1 mpg.

    Nice! I don't have any pics, but I got 23.8 mpg a few weekends ago all on the highway. Surprised the hell out of me. Speed limit was 55 half the trip, 65 the rest, so that had something to do with it I'm sure.

    Yeah I was getting 22.8 going 70 for about half of the trip before I did some city driving and it went down a bit. I went 70 for about 75%, city stop and go for the other 25%.

    Impressive! I average just under 19MPG in mine, but have peaked at almost 21 on several tanks. Average fillup is about 16gal, with my largest being 18gal.

    Haha I bet I could if I fill up at the top of a hill, coast down the hill, then fill up at the bottom... :D

    This thread wasn't so much about the mileage as it was that I went over 400 miles on a tank and I put over 18 gallons in an 18 gallon tank. I posted this in another thread and all the haters thought it was impossible...

    Also I no longer trust the reading on gas pumps as the last 2 times I've filled the boat I've gotten 62 gallons into a 60 gallon tank. (thank god I'm just the one filling and not paying :) )

    correct me if I'm wrong but my truck.. same as OP has a 18.5 gallon tank, so how did you fill 19.5?

    I get a pretty consistent 275 miles out of my 15.5 gallons when the light comes on for me before fill up.
