I've always liked the look of the old FJ40 wheels. Has anyone put these on their 1st gen? Would they even fit? How do you think they'd look on a taco?

    Those are FJ Cruiser wheels.

FJ40 wheels will have the correct 6 lug pattern to fit. I think 40 series require spacers if they use tacoma rims. Something about the rims contacting steering components. So you should be ok with 40 series wheels on a 1st gen.

I think they'd look cool as long as you didn't use the center caps.

Good info. I've been looking for some online. I was hoping one of TW's members had done this so I could see how it looks. I'd hate to spend $ on FJ40 wheels only to experiment.

Welcome. Looks like the first thread in that link is a set but they've already sold.

Hope you find some soon. Curious to see how they look.
