go with the moog I have a set of energy poly sitting in the garage that tried to install but to put them on u must burn the rubber out of the old bushings or they dont fit the need the sleeve to fit right. plus poly doesnt flex as well offroad and squeaks uless u lube often. I have poly on the rear spring bushings and they are very noisy if i dont lube every 6 mos or so. I have a new set of poly bushing u can have for $40 if u wanna go that route. brand new in the box

There's no such thing as too much grease. Smear that crap everywhere. Just wipe off the excess after install... Use the grease that comes with the bushings, though...

Not true (bolded). Poly/urethane flexes better than rubber. The poly bushings don't even "flex", they actually slide inside the sleeves, the rubber just twists and can limit travel based on how much the rubber can deform and twist.

You have to burn the old ones out no matter what you replace them with.

Alcan stock height 4-leaf springs, greaseable main eye bolts, OME greaseable shackles, all energy suspension bushings, 2-row extra deep radiator, KYB gas-a-just shocks. ALL LED exterior and interior lighting including custom tail lights and blinkers.
No squeeks so far with mine. My truck is COMPLETELY poly. It really makes the steering more responsive. If you can use more grease with them or add a zerk or greasable bolt with them and use green grease or lubrathane they really ride nice. The added vibration is hardly noticeable. Mine dissapeared when I swapped my hard body mounts for the softer (hard to believe, I know) poly.

Worth the money. Use lots of grease. I burned mine out. You can also press them out.

What about sway bar bushings? I have some ES sway bar frame mount bushings but never put them on the 05. Will put them on the 08 at some point....just because I have them.

if you have them, might as well throw them on... Sway bar bushings aren't high on my list, but if I see them starting to crack, I'll probably throw poly ones on. ES bushings are pretty cheap, too. just about the same price as OEM rubber ones, IIRC.

got my new alignment cams today and after comparing the ES to the moog and the fit with the alignment cam i think im going with moog. the ES doesnt support the cam on one end and the metal sleeve and washer that came with the kit do not fit the alignment cam either

Haven't used Moog for this job. But I have used them a lot before and have found their products to be top quality. Im sure their bushings in this case will also be good stuff.

Good luck on the install. And try not to drop the F bomb too often. Also remember to look away before bashing shit with a hammer. The amount of shit that has fallin in to my eyes working under the truck is crazy

Bump- how are you like the Moogs? I thin Poly would be easier to install, but I want the NVH reduction rubber gives.

I just did Moog bushings in my lowers. They were $13 a pair from rock auto. I do not remember a part #. They were a workout to remove. I would torched em but I didn't want the smoke.

I wound up drilling out the rubber and slicing the remaining shell with a sawzall and the driving the remaining bushing shell out with an air chisel.

They new moogs slid right it with a threaded rod and sockets/washers like a screw press.

Rubber for me. I've seen urethane come parts fall apart.

I've done a mod or two
I have been using Poly bushings in my front and rear suspension parts for a while now and they have been pretty solid and very minimal squeeking. Only thing I recommend is to avoid them for replacing body mounts because it makes the ride inside very harsh.

Does anybody know if Energy Suspension sells a kit just for the lower control arm? I have aftermarket control arms so I don't need them for the top.
