I have a 04 Doublecab with a V6 and I installed a K&N cold air intake but since I installed it the truck won't hardly idle and has no power at all. I have checked and cannot find any air leaks. I was curious if anyone else has run into this and if so does anybody have a fix? Thanks in advance

I opted for a deck plate instead of a CAI so I'm no help.

The only thing I can think of would be......MAF sensor installed and plugged up....not trying to be a dick cause i know thats an easy thing to put back on, but some people forget about it.....ME lol.

MAS is plugged up. I even cleaned it with some q tip swabs. I was just wondering if it could be pulling to much air since it is so close to the filter and joking it go crazy, but I know other people have used it with no problem so I have a hard time thinking that's it. Of course, my light has been on for my o2 sensor for about a month now and I have been to lazy to change it.
It has been running fine and have never ran into this before

hmmmm....weird....I had an 01 and had the K&N too so I kinda know what your talking about but I never had that issue so i don't believe its cause the sensor being to close is the problem....Check lines again and thats pretty much all I have for ya..I'm sorry I tried to help....BUMP so hopefully someone else can chime in!

You may have ruined by cleaning it with a qtip of you stuck it in your maf that may be your problem because that sensor has really fine filaments in it .02 if not then i dunno Ive had mine for a few years

I've cleaned MAS many times with q tips never had any problems. Of course, your right you have to be very careful when cleaning it. It was acting up even before I ever cleaned it. I am beginning to wonder if the 02 sensor having issues it's throwing everything else off. I have ran into that before on another vehicle before.
I may try changing the 02 sensor and then put it back on the scanner and go from there

Yeah possibly those sensors. On my 01 I had so many problems with the sensors and my cats. I replaced both sensors twice and the cats three times and I was still pulling the p0401 code. But even then my engine didn't idle any differently, like yours is. Keep us updated.
