The good and bad about fj rims

I went home to pick up my paycheck (what perfect timing) and I drove by this yard sale. I found a set of 5 FJ rims with standard tires (probably at 50% tread) for 300 bucks. I want to buy them and already have the cash (wont take them for more than 250). Now, my dilemma is that I want to fit 32x11.50 on my truck and these rims aren't really offset, so I would rub.

Very good price for the FJ wheels. I would buy them, as mention, if they do not fit, you can always add wheel spacers. Or you could resell them for more then you bought them.

 

Which FJ wheels are they? Is it $300 total or each? If it really is $300 total for a set of 5 wheels and tires...regardless of what they are that is a smokin' deal.

Get some spidertrax 1.25'' wheel spacers

 

Aren't wheel spacers really expensive? I saw ONE for around 90. Besides, that would make the rims not worth it because I have to spend around 350 for spacers all around. I also love offroading and I heard spacers aren't such a good idea if you offroad heavily.

 

They are something like 100 bucks for two. I got spacers when i got taco sport rims because my tire was rubbing the UCA.

Look at my build, I offroad heavily and the spacers are fine.

 

You only need spacers on the fronts I think depending on how much flex you're getting.
