I have a v6 2001 Prerunner, and was thinking of swaping the rear axle for a 2nd gen rear axle, stiffer and marginally better ratio. What I was wondering is do any of you have experiance with installation of the 2nd gen in a 1st gen. What problems will I incounter and are they even the same wheel to wheel dimension? Any comments are greatly appreciated.
