    or the fact that they are not even eibach coils? are you 100% positive that they are even eibachs?

    but in his defense, I have heard of eibach's sagging a little.

    but coils will not last forever, they will wear out

    I'm thinking about buying these Eibach coils. I'm currently running Billies 5100 at 2.5" setting with the stock springs. I get rubbing on the mudflaps at full turn/lock with 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs on 16X8 MT rims with 3.5" backspace. If I got these springs and set the Billies to 0", would the springs provide enough lift to solve rub issue? I prefer to keep the mud flaps on to keep road tar off my truck. Anyone running similar setup?

    Either way..you will rub during flexing. Due to your wider BS on the rim it pushes the wheel out and more into your fender. I know this as i have 2.5'' BS and had to cut quite a bit from the fenders.

    Id be curious to see the long term affects on the cv axles. Yes it would destroy the boots but its not like mine and montes are destroyed already. I wonder if it would cause binding or even breaking.

    So you don't believe his toytec eibach coils are sagging to the point where moving the perch to the middle setting gets him back to the amount of lift he had was when the coils were new?

    I was thinking about the initial setting of the shocks when the coil is new. Like Cody. I think that might be why his cv boots exploded

    But i guess if hes had his coils on for long time they could sag enough to have to re-adjust the shocks. But if thats happening you should probably change out the coils.

    i have two blown boots right now. Both of my inners.

    mine aren't really sagging though. And that guy got his a bit before me and the bumper after me i think..not sure why he thinks it was so saggy..I bet he just thinks it was like i said before.

    Overall tho long term would be bad id guess. LT guys ride height is higher but they can get away with it as the tundra CVs are long so the angle isn't as steep as ours would be at the same height.

    i think during turning it would cause some major binding.

    I've always heard this was a death sentence to your CV's, unless you upgrade them. I stuck with the 0'' setting, as I believe 99% of everyone else on here has, too. But, hey, who knows... :notsure:

    Is anyone in here running the 5100's with stock springs adjusted all the way up? Toytech's eibach springs are backordered and I'm thinking about just going ahead with just the 5100's till the springs are back in stock. Just curious as to how it would ride till the eibachs go on

    Just orders the 5100/AAL lift. 15x8 wheels and 33x12.50 tires...
    I'm in the same boat man! I am putting on my entire lift this weekend, except for the Eibachs. I am putting 5100s on my stock spring set to 2.5" this weekend. I will let ya know how it feels. As soon as the Eibachs come off back order I will be getting some!

    Depending on the condition of your stock springs, you'll get at least 2" of lift out of it. Nothing to lose and you may just end up liking it.

    ...stock springs like that, on the highest position, it wan't awful. However, it will murder your springs and will sag out relatively quickly and THEN ride like shit.
