    Lost track many mods ago
    Im planing on blacking out my grille, turn signals, and bumper caps and i want to see some pictures of how it would look. post some photos if you have one. what paint and clear coat can i use that wont chip or rub of?

    It's not really about the paint. Just be sure to prep prep prep. spraying is easy. it's the prep work that counts.

    I wish I still had them. I ended up selling them after beating the crap out of them and made profit off of them :cool:. One day I may have them on the silver truck.

    rustoleum flat black, no clear coat. painted the grill, bumper and the chrome inserts so they would match. held up very well for more than a year (i now have an elite offroad bumper).

    I painted all of it first with bumper coating, then it kept coming off the chrome, so i went with dupli-color truck bed coating with a final coat of plasti-dip needless to say its not chipping anytime soon

    I was actually thinking of doing the exact same thing with my truck. As you can see I have all this gay chrome shit. What do you guys think would be the best way to turn the chrome into black? Plastidip? Black paint?
