I have a 98 Ext cab, 4x4, ABS, non locker.

Recently when I been having my real wheels "locked" when I start driving. The truck will go in reverse without issue but when I put it in 1st (or 2nd) and try moving forward the rear wheels are locked until I give it a little gas and it "breaks free".

A couple of buddies suggested that the parking break was sticking, but then reverse would have the same problem, right?. It doesn't do it from a stop (traffic light, stop sign, etc.). Usually after it has been parked for the night.

I plan to pull the wheels off and check the brakes soon, I just haven't had the time. Any suggestions? anyone else had this problem?

Im having the same issues, but only once and a while. They seem to only be noticable on gravel.
