This link goes to hvac panel for a limited 4runner...so I'm assuming it would have to be a sr5 4runner hvac panel to fit a tacoma and not a limited. Am I right?

Am I missing a socket or something here? I'm trying to replace my bulb, but I don't see how it will be connected to anything.

You have to take it all the way out and twist the bulbs in from the back. I have pics on the last page of my build.

Don't really post on this forum too often but thought I'd add some info. Talked to a couple of dealerships as well as a Japan supplier, guess the 4runner climate control panel/plate is discontinued, so it'll all be orange if you try to order it..

    Alright thread bump time.

There's a lot of good info in here for a 01-04 but not much (or any) for a 98-00.

    My truck: 1998 SR5

After taking off and putting back in the climate control plate and stereo surround, the portion of the climate control for where the air blows (dash only, dash and foot, etc..) isn't lighting up anymore.

I don't remember a bulb behind that knob specifically, I thought I only saw two... one behind where the blower speed and one behind the temp knob.

I would like to replace the bulbs to a different color if possible.

    Questions:

    1. If I find the right bulbs, or if someone could please help me (I promise to vet it myself before purchase and not blame you ;) ) on superbrightleds.com - do these LEDs simply plug in with no modification?

    2. Do the LEDs dim with the dimmer knob on the dash?
