alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
how much lift are you going with in the front? i also suggest the 3 leaf progressive AAL, your ride will be much nicer

With 881s i think just a 1.5'' with be fine. 883s will need at least a 2''. Eibach coils and you'll need a lifting leaf pack and an AAL most likely or shackles. Or all three. Eibachs are cheaper too btw..

To make it level, I'd go with a 1.5" AAL. If you want a slight rake in the front similar to how they come stock but just not as much, then I'd go with a 2" AAL.

    Thanks man,

your going to have a whole new love for your truck once you get that lift on. It's going to look great and can't wait to see it. :)

I lost right at about 2 mpg's with the 285' and with my driving of half city and highway combined, 50/50, am getting 17mpg.

It's not a required thing, no. It's supposed to help alleviate the common driverside lean these trucks have. If you have never heard of it, search "Taco Lean".

They have front and rear 5100s. 5125s just come in way more sizes for lifted applications. rear 5100s are only good for around 2.5-3'' of lift and 3 is sometimes pushing it.

And Rancho coils are what Austen has up front. You can't buy those anymore. They aren't the leaf pack.

Yea you will be fine with just 5100s. All of billys shocks have the same valving so there isn't any difference in your case or advantage to get 5125s

Can you get the 5125's for the stock height ? downsouthmotorsports says the 5125s are for a stock truck with no lift. And everybody on here says different. Im going to put new shocks on the rear but don't know which ones to go with. I want to keep the stock height.
