I've got a 2001 double cab prerunner. For the past month, I've noticed the following issue with my AC:
    1. The AC damper (back behind the dash) seems to constantly move. I can hear it constantly self adjusting.
    2. The damper continuously self adjusts whether the AC/heater is turned off or on.
    3. The sound seems to be coming from the passenger foot-well area.
    4. The AC temp seems to go from cold to cool, to luke warm, to cold and back again (unrelated issue with the refrigerant perhaps? I don't know....).

Any thoughts on this - especially points 1-3? It sounds like an electrical/solenoid issue. I haven't had any "check engine" codes appear. If there is something that needs maintenance, I don't know what it would be or where to start. Any advise is appreciated.

Sounds like a spring has broken or a link has disconnected.
You'll have to get in there and see what broke.

If this is true, then one of your controls should not be working .
