Very bad rad...75% fins crumbled to the touch!!

New one tomorrow...very easy removal...also easy was the thermostat removal as I will be installing a new one with new hoses on the new rad

When I removed the fan shroud an air hose/line was located on top of the shroud coming from the air box.

The opposite end of this line was loose and not connected to anything???....is this normal?

I found the loose end hiding under the throttle body...the pic shows the loose end (circled in red)...I placed it there for the photo.

Can anyone help on info about this hose? Thanks for any input...I have studied the service manual to no avail.

That hose is supposed to go the the EVAP/charcoal canister (black boxy thing on the drivers side that has two round things on top of it. At least that is where mine goes.

Good reason to rinse the radiator in the winter, when you wash your vehicle to get the salt off it that is sprayed from the vehicle in front of you!
