    Is $10,500 a good price for a 2004 4x4 tacoma x-tra cab SR5 V6 with 85,000 miles?

That's about $4000 less than I paid for mine with 83K on it about 7 months ago.

    2004 4x4 Xtra cab TRD SR5.

I'm in Western PA, and prices seem to vary wildly across the country, so check other prices locally.

Yeah, check it out completely. That does sound cheap. Two years ago I looked at a similar truck and they wanted 15,500 at a local new car dealership. I bought the 2006 I have for 17,500.

Look up the blue book on it. For example, I paid kelly blue book "fair" condition private party for mine. A lot of people try to pass their stuff off as "excellent". If you read the description of what excellant actually mean, then they should have a complete documented service history, brand new tires, brakes, etc. There's not much out there that actually will meet that in a used truck.

It's worth a look. Maybe it's not perfect and the guy is being realistic. Maybe he has just decided it's time to sell, and does not feel like sitting on it for months looking for a buyer. Maybe he needs to ditch his payment in a hurry.

Check it out, and if all is well, you got a deal without having to haggle for it.
