I have a 2002 Tacoma 5 spd 4x4. I have noticed when i crank the truck up for the first time in a few hours or especially in the mornings when I let out on the clutch it feels like somethin is grabbing and its hard to get the truck to move. Also when I push the clutch back in something will make a loud knocking noise. anybody know what the problem is. ? by the way its not my ebrake.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Pilot bearing would make noise all the time when it starts to go. It supports the input shaft of the transmission and is pressed into the flywheel. You might have been thinking throwout bearing.
I would suspect a clutch fork or a throwout bearing problem. A close inspection while someone operates the clutch might reveal the problem.
