Interesting.... the bottom bushing is different. not sure the signification on that.

As you can see. This is the bushings sent by toytec

looks like i should have 2 of the smaller bushings.

Does the OEM washer need to be included? I was looking at my 5100 mounting instruction sheet and it does not mention the need to for the OEM washer below the top plate. Just want to make sure and I know it won't hurt to get the OEM washer anyways.

I'm not sure if it "needs" it. But when i was assembling it i noticed everything came together nicely. But is your set up the same as the 1st gen tacoma? Also do you have the instructions available?

It should be the same. The 5100's are for a Tundra, but it should use the same washers and bushings I think. Here is the mounting instructions for the Tundra 5100's.

Interesting. Maybe the top plate is what makes the difference. But hopefully someone that know's for sure can chime in....

When are you doing the install?

I'm using the stock Tacoma/4runner top plate, so maybe that is why the instructions don't have a washer.

I'm probably going to do it this weekend. I want to get them in before Hollister.

Not sure yet. Maybe my dad's place or my mom's. Unfortunately the only place to work on my 4runner at my house is on the street and I'm not doing that. It will most likely be Sunday if you want to come down. I'm going to try a different way of disassembling the shocks so I don't have to pay a shop to do it.

Yeah in Santa Cruz. No worries if you don't make it though. It shouldn't take all that long, I hope.

I should be able to. If we can do it as early as possible. That would be cool.
