Dim Front Right Headlight

Recently I noticed my front right ( passenger side) headlight has gone dim. Ive switched bulbs and still same side is dim, so its not the actual bulb. I was reading somewhere that it could be a blown plug (part that connects bulb to wires), but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? and what did you do to fix it? I went by a toyota dealership and they were charging $9 for each wire x3, so basically $30.

To note, I installed some HIDS about a year ago, so this may have been the reason for the blown plug. I switched out to my old bulbs and still passenger side is dim, so its NOT the actual bulb itself.

Trace the ground wire to its attachment at the chassis. Remove it, clean both the wire end and the chassis mounting point, reassemble.
