I just bought an 03 Taco Double Cab and found that the dome light and the lights behind the instrument cluster are both out. I checked the fuses and they all seem fine (and the radio etc. works). My multimeter is acting up so I haven't checked the dome light for voltage but the bulb looks OK.

Any ideas? I'm hoping I missed something simple.

As a follow up on this, it turned out that there was a simple explanation -- dash bulbs and dome bulbs were all blown. Not connected -- just a coincidence -- and relatively simple to fix.
