I wanted to punch my buddy today

I was talking to my buddy today about what cars I'm looking for. I told him I was looking into a 1st gen Tacoma or a 3rd gen 4runner. He laughed at me and said, "how are you going to get girls in something that was from the 90s? Its almost 2012 you need something more up to date". In my mind I was like, wtf? But, I'm the kind of guy that really doesn't want to start any confrontation unless its really needed. Damn that dude made me mad. Thats the problem with a lot of people in my area. Very materialistic. They gotta have the newest car or somehow they're not in the in crowd lol.

 

cuz that makes perfect sense...i know plenty of girls who dig classic muscle cars and old lifted rigs ahaha.

my 2000 has gotten me many a sweater kitten.

I think 1/2 of the girls ive gone out with went out with me to ride in my truck.

 

Thats funny you mention the 2012. If I showed him a 2005 and a 2012 Tacoma, he would automatically say the 2012 just cuz of the year even though theyre the same damn truck with a few tweaks.

When I went to college I got tons of chicks to comment on my truck. Even had one chick that was constantly asking me to "teach her to drive my stick" But her b/f was scary...lol... And my girlfriend loves my truck... First time I messed around w/ my chick was in the back "seat" of my 97 xtra cab

Guys that think a nice car will get them laid usually get said car to make up for the real reason they can't get laid.

I have a buddy who has a z06 corvette, jeep tj, and three motorcyles (one being a custom choppper and another a BRP spider) is baffled that he only gets laid about once every 2 months... At least he admits he doesn't get laid very often

And he used to rag on my taco because its 16 years old...but I shut him up when I had to pull him out in his TJ...and I didn't even need to use 4wd
