Buying a tacoma!!!!

So i am on the market for a new truck i have narrowed down my search to a tacoma i want a single cab preferably and prerunner style i already have a jeep so dont need 4x4. so my questions are what is better motor the 3.4 or 2.2 and whats better stick or auto. i know use the search button i did and couldnt find anything.

The obvious answer is it depends on what you want and what you're doing with it... Both are good motors with good reputations. Stick or auto just comes down to personal preference

Do you want more power or more gas mileage? I've had the 2.7 and a 3.4 motor. I got about 18-20 mpg with the 2.7 and only 16-18 with the 3.4. You'll definitely lose power with the 2.7 though.

Also, if you're not getting a 4x4, definitely get a prerunner. You'll have more options with lifts and stuff

i know im set on a prerunner i was wondering if the gas was much different. i like power!!!!!! so thats good to know
