fiberglass fenders

I got a pair of glassworks fenders and my only concern with them is the underside. what should I put under the fenders so that they are properly protected? I live in the desert so rocks and other debris always get spit up and it looks like the firewall will be gone after installing the glass.

any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

I was thinking about that too.... I was thinking about making some kind of rubber/plastic sheet or something to keep it someone OEM looking... I haven't gotten my fenders yet... I'm just saying LOL

in all honesty, the glass will hold up fine as it is with out any coating or protection on the inside
