Is straight headers bad?

    Just for fun i wanna run straight headers. Unscrew the Cat and run that. its 2 bolts and seems easy to rais the cat out of the way. AGION just for fun i have a 40 series but i wanna make it loud oneday.
    So is running that with no back pressure bad for my truck? Im easy on my truck so im not gonna be Running the shit out of it but my friend thinks he knows it all ands says ill blow something. is it bad?

    No damage, that's pretty much what I've got and I am running just fine. You'll have a CELL to worry about though and it will get quite a bit louder with more rasp

    Ok thats what i was thinking. Mines on now for Oxygen sensors so its all good haha
